More Rare Fabric Finds on YokoDana.com: Vintage Japanese Kimono Fabrics by Yard/Piece

November 03, 2017 Yoko Lewis

So What's New at YokoDana Kimono?

Well, yes, you bought us out of  most of our bulk kimono packages so our wait lists are bulging for the first time in 19 years --but we've not been idle. While we're waiting for our replenishment of our bulk kimono packages to arrive we've been busy posting Japanese vintage and antique fabrics to our website.

If you haven't visited our fabrics-by-piece / yard collection in awhile on yokodana.com, below are the kinds of special pieces we have been adding in recent weeks; You'll find everything from picture kasuri (ikat, called e-gasuri) , 1940s Amami Ohshima Tsumugi silk, to distinctive 1950's innovative silk designs in silks, cottons, wool, asa (hemp) and others.

To see what we mean, here are just a few of what we've posted most recently below:

5407 1950s silk
5405 1950s brocaded silk
5403 Vintage Silk
5400 vintage silk
5399 'ro' silk for nagajubans, vintage deadstock
