Fabric Description:  Meisen silk, lightweight with intentionally fuzzy edges to designs; this fabric has more modern-looking patterns of large-scale flowers (spider chrysanthemums?) basically filling the plain gray background; in addition to the flower petals, as background there are other leaves; again, rendered creatively in less-traditional style (please see closeups); colors of the flowers range from black, dark purple, deep-red & white to yellow and mustard; same on both sides; no sheen; faric is slightly stiff and smooth to the touch.

  • Colors: Please NOTE that colors and contrast differ on each device, so use our text descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric).
