Fabric Description: This high-quality, 1930s-1950s kimono silk is a lightweight fabric, slightly translucent; Background color is cream color with countryside scene; design is of various figures  typically seen in this motif: thatched-roof houses, many type of flowers, streams, trees in clusters; colors used: gray, mustard yellow, dark reds. black, olive-green, peach and pink colors; Typically of Meisen of this period, all designs are fuzzy with almost an Impressionistic sense; Motifs are same on both sides .
