Fabric History/Pedigree: 1980's fabric derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used).
Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric was originally intended to make women's kimono; background-color is a rust-red with designs in soft tones of gray, green, and tans; lines in white; the design is of a variety of traditional flowers; also, note the slightly arched lines in the background (side to side), creating a wave effect behind the flowers; distinctive design; no-sheen; minimal drape.
