Fabric Description: This is a fine light-weight silk for use in making a girls or woman's ceremonial kimono; Background color is dark Fuschia with interwoven swirling lines, decorative tassels, and cords, as well as ikebana baskets and other classic ikebana figures -- these background designs are all very subtle, only seen up close in certain lighting; Foreground is a rich full array of large flower clusters and decorative cords with tassels, also, within the flowers are Temari balls and ikebana containers; along the sides are 3.25 inches/8.26cm hexagonal family crests (mon) shapes; flower types are many and there are also bamboo leaves (Please see close-ups); print designs on one side, but much is still slightly visible on the reverse; this delicate silk fabric is somewhat smooth to the touch, very good drape.

Recommended for making scarf/accessories, or even display.
