Fabric History/Provenance: Pieces derived from deadstock 1980's kimono silk fabric roll; originally intended to make white ceremonial wedding kimono (shiromuku).

Fabric Description: This is medium-weight undyed silk originally for use in making a shiromuku (white wedding) kimono the color is white with sheen ; entire fabric is filled with interwoven speckles (see close-up), leaving the fabric textured to the touch on the front side; smoother on reverse; Very good quality silk, color is slightly off-white  but less than 'milk-white'.
