Fabric History/Provenance: Pieces derived from deadstock 1990's kimono silk roll.

Fabric Description: This is a lightweight chirimen silk originally for use in making a kimono; the fabric is a hard-to-describe color: sort of a mauve with hint of brown background, with designs of 1 inch/2.54cm long Japanese fans (partially opened) that are scattered randomly throughout the fabric; Fans' color is sort of muted peach with hint of brown; Please see closeups; same on both sides, no sheen ,slight drape ; due to the chirimen, slightly textured to the touch.
