Overview: This is an authentic 1960s Japanese kimono silk print panel (Showa era). The textile showcases a masterful Shiki-moyo (four-seasons landscape pattern) intricately balanced with highly auspicious motifs and classic Japanese architectural features of Kinkaku-ji, Kyoto's Golden Pavilion, vivid color Japanese maple leaves, Pine Trees, and water (pond and streams)

Fabric Description: Lightweight silk, slightly translucent, deconstructed from a younger woman's kimono, possibly a furisode; broad range of retro motifs: pine trees, bamboo leaves, many flowers; the pond beside the  Golden Pavilion (Kyoto, Kinkaku-ji), stream; All colors of the spectrum are used, but the bright red and orange momiji (Japanese Autumn Maple leaves) dominate the fabric design with the pavilion in detail; some of them in pastel hues, others medium darks; please see close-ups.
