Fabric Type: Dark indigo-blue(almost black) background color, light-weight, minimally translucent, slightly stiff from arai hari processed1960s yukata; Overall pattern is called Kikkou. meaning a traditional Chinese/Japanese pattern based on a tortoise-shell hexagonal grid pattern; in this case, the smallest elements are 1 inch tall X .875 inch (2.54 cm x 22.23 mm); depending on aspect, larger hex lines enfold 2 smaller hexes; Note the light blue coloration of alternaitng small elements (please see closeups); Fabric is pixelated and rough texture mimicing shibori dots; wash separately, multiple times; please see our care & cleaning tips page HERE.
