This high-quality, delicate 1930s-1950s kimono silk is lightweight meisen fabric, an ikat (Kasuri) type weave; fabric is slightly translucent; Background colors are off-white/gray and rusty-red, with patterns in black lines; This grid is complex, has concentric arrays, yet also vertical and horizontal symmetry and parallels; the motifs are the same on both sides (Please see close-ups);
