Fabric Type:  Lightweight, delicate & translucent silk deconstructed from a woman's kimono; color is dark plum background with with interwoven tortoise shell hex patterns  (kikko) in entire fabric; The Shochikubai motif varies with fruit on branches (here peach but could be persimmons), and exotic flowers; in this fabric there are peonies, daffodils, orchid blossoms and others; Design colors are a soft-white and pastel yellows, peach, dark colonial blue and grays; designs on one side; fabric is soft and good drape.

Recommended for making scarf or accessories.
