Fabric History/Pedigree: 1980's deadstock,, from roll, originally intended for use in making a girl's ceremonial kimono   Traditional  7-5-3 (shichi-go-san) kimono.

Fabric Description Details:  This is a light-medium weight, minimally translucent, and slightly stiff; The color is solid classic vermillion (Shuiro - see our info page HERE) ; The motif is bright and colorful, cascading large-scaled flowers of many types (classic retro designs), including peonies, chrysanthemums, plum and cherry blossoms, a classic rounded crane; also note the retro shibori-dot-like fields.

Colors used: different shades of  pink to peach, pink, white, green, gray, orange, whites, blacks; Designs on one side, but apparent on reverse.
