Fabric Description: Lightweight silk, minimally translucent, deconstructed  from woman's kimono; This fabric is replete with the classic Asa-no-Ha pattern (Hemp Leaf)

-- used for 1200 years in Japanese culture, religion & art/designs; The lines rendering the asa no ha pattern are a dark indigo-blue and the fabric itself is a very pale lavender color (looks white in lower to medium room light); Note the random placement of color accents at center of the asa no ha leaf patterns; colors used for this are iron-red, mustard-gold and all others are silver-white; the fabric is slightly textured, but not to degree of chirimen; minimal drape, smooth to touch but no sheen; motifs on one side.
