  • Fabric History/Pedigree: 1960's, pieces derived from used boys ceremonial silk kimono  Traditional boys 7-5-3 (shichi-go-san) kimono.
  • Colors: dark purple and cream-white background, motifs in various tans and moss-green, browns, various grayhues;.
  • Motifs: Standard traditional Shichi-Go-San designs: Tai-Fish(Red Snapper), books, Treasure Ship, Children's toys(top).
  • Condition:  Very Good (a few white dots in purple solid area).
As a print, all this is on one side but due to thinness of the farbric it can be seen somewhat on reverse.
