Item Details and Description

• Fabric History/Pedigree:  1980s  or earlier silk fabric pieces from a partial deadstock roll found with other similar old fabrics.
  
  
• Fabric Description:
  
  Fabric is light to medium weight, background a solid brighter cream-white  with motifs in pastel hues of blue, some dark aqua-blues (gradation), gray and colonial blues; note the black pixels (as +) throughout, and off-white, with intentionally fuzzy boundaries of all designs; the fabric is stiff and is minimally translucent (only if a bright light is behind the silk); 
  

NOTE: All designs result from a pixelated effect, tiny pixelated lines created in the weaving/dyeing process (Please see closeups); selvage on both sides is .25 inch (6.35mm) fabric slightly stiff, little drape; same on both sides.
