Fabric Description: This high-quality, 1930s-1950s kimono silk is a thin but not sheer lightweight fabric, somewhat  translucent; Background color is solid burgundy-red with designs of geometric medallions in Plus(+) sign figures; these figures alternate side to side as progressing lengthwise; Medallions measure outer solid colored edging is 5 inches X 5 inches, with the solid black shape(with reds) inside measuring 2.5/6.4cm squared;  Typically of Meisen of this period, all designs are fuzzy, with thin blue-gray pinstripes running through the medallions, North-South, East-West; Motifs are same on both sides;
