Item Details and Description

    Fabric Description:  1930s-1950s Meisen silk, lightweight, slightly translucent; with intentionally fuzzy edges to designs; this exceptional fabric has black lines running vertically and with curlicues;As backgroun, note the irregularly shaped lateral bands and strokes, mostly pastel colors in lighter hues;  colors of the designs range from  burgundy-red to greens, peach, grays, cram, black and mustard; most of the design is abstract; same on both sides; no sheen; fabric is slightly stiff and smooth to the touch.
