Fabric Description: This is a lightweight, not translucent chirimen silk originally for use in making a kimono; the fabric is a gray color background with a hint of pink; designs are of rows and columns of medallion shapes as well as paisley designs; colors of designs are predominantly dark/muted shades of aqua-green, burgundy, black, indigo, brown and burgundy-reds; Please see close-ups; fabric has slight sheen and some drape; due to the chirimen, slightly textured to the touch.
