Item Details and Description:

  • Fabric History/Pedigree:   Lightweight thin deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1930s - 1950s.
  • Fabric Description:  Lightweight,  translucent pinstriped cotton yukata (summer kimono)  with pinstripes evenly spaced: mustard lines (thicker) dominate and are spaced every .25 inch / 6.35mm; thinner pinstripes are in browns and blues; fabric the same on both sides; Please see closeups.

  • Fabric Type: Still slightly firm, the fabric softens with wash. (hand-wash separately, with lukewarm water-- see our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips.
