Fabric History/Pedigree:  Deadstock silk from roll, a type of silk used for making obiage for wear with kimono; hand tie-dyed shibori.

Fabric Description: Lightweight silk, thick and spongy due to the extensive shibori work; fabric is red background with white shibori designs throughout; Patterns are zig-zag running lengthwise (Please see pictures).

Please note that the fabric is still wrinkled from the shibori-process and the pinholes from the shibori are obvious throughout, so the fabric is textured and sponge-like;  pictures show front side; quite elastic.

Condition: Excellent.

Special washing instructions included, view HERE.
