Fabric History/Pedigree: Derived from roll of deadstock kimono silk pieces (unused from another time).
Fabric Description: Lightweight, translucent 1960s silk originally intended to make a woman's summer kimono with gradation-spaced pinstripes and thicker bands and spacing across the fabric; Colors range from navy blue to mustard yellows, white, silver, red, dark purples and rust-red; (Please view our closeup pictures); all stripes running lengthwise; Fabric is slightly translucent, same on both sides; slight sheen, slightly textured weave, almost chirimen.
