Fabric History/Pedigree: 1930s-1950s silk fabric pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall, by click-pushing HERE.
Fabric Type: Lightweight silk is a creamy-light tan color background with bands in light brown;slight sheen and light drape; also, along left and right sides have 3 pinstripes running together (lengthwise), black inner stripe with outer pinstripes in light yellow; Left pinstripes are 1.75 inches(44.45cm) from the left edge, and right pinstripes are 2.5 inches(6.4cm) from right edge; This pattern is on both sides; Note that colors differ on different devices so please use our text descriptions to complement our images.
