Modern, Contemporary Products,Upcycled in 21st Century from Vintage Japanese Fabrics

From time to time we find interesting more modern pieces in our vintage pickings in Japan. Such things will be placed in this collection. Anything made contemporarily, whether fabric, kimono, or any other kind of item or accessory, will be placed in this collection.

Most commonly, we include here things made by the owner's sister in Japan, a nationally recognized quilter and master seamstress there. She uses our own vintage Japanese fabrics, arai-hari (from deconstructed and cleaned kimono fabrics), usually from 1930s to 1950s fabrics. Details in each product description.
