Fabric History/Pedigree: 1980s fabric derived from deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used).

Fabric Description: Japanese vintage silk kimono fabric originally intended to make women's kimono, background-color is bright pink with interwoven designs of bamboo stalks and lateral fine pinstripes throughout (please see closeups); these horizontal stripes render the fabric as textured to the touch; slight gloss; same on both sides witha some soft-drape. 

Suitable for making scarf/accessories.
