Hinamatsuri - Girls Day: March 3, 2018

This is from our hometown village, Yoko's sister's house in Kumamoto. Note the addition of some hand-done hinamatsuri by Yoko's niece. While present-day Japan celebrate's "Childrens Day", when growing up in Japan March 3rd was always the celebration of "Girls Day". Little girls dress up and go to the local shrine.
