Fabric History/Pedigree:  Deadstock cotton from a roll, a type of cotton used for making a child's summer kimono called yukata, for daily summer wear.

Fabric Description: Lightweight cotton originally intended to make a child's daily-wear or festival-wear kimono (yukata); This piece is a solid white-colored background with what looks like cartoon-style designs, including the following;  yellow & red squirrels, red & blue goldfish, blue and green butterflies in a line, red orbs (cherries?balloons?) and green branches, and blue & red cookies; The largest figures are the squirrels, which are 3.125 (1/8) inches / 7.78 cm tall; this design is definitely in the Japanese spirit of kawaii (See Wikipedia HERE); (Please see close-ups).

Colors: Please use our text color descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric due to differences in contrast and color on different devices.

Condition: Excellent.
