Fabric Description: Lightweight  silk; This is a 1950's piece in dark purple, burnished silver-gray  curved rectangular fields  with stylized large pink flowers (cherry blossoms) and concentric frames within the fields; As in most of meisen from the 50's and earlier, the intentional fuzziness lend an impressionistic feel; also, the shapes are larger than conventional kimono fabric motifs, averaging about 6 inches / 15.24 cm diagonally in each shape.
