Fabric History/Provenance: Pieces derived from deadstock 1990's kimono silk roll.
Fabric Description: This is medium-weight silk for use in making a formal kimono, with no translucence; the fabric background is white but fabric is full of a light salmon-pink background in various hues, with a modern motif of flowers, a rainbow pattern, switchgrass, and arc wave patterns; colors of designs are mostly pastels favoring lavenders with other colors being cranberry, light green, red and orange-reds; this type of thicker silk does not wrinkle as easily but has little drape; designs on one side only.
