Fabric Description: This lightweight silk piece is dark plum color, fine and translucent, derived from a woman's kimono; the fabric has an interwoven pattern throughout of classic rural scenery with trees, old-style Japanese wooden bridges; it also includes cloud formations, streams, and various flowers and trees; Foreground motif is stylized pine branches  overlain by Orizuru, Origami cranes; colors of designs: silver, white, pink, aqua-blue, and green; there are a few places where the silver lines are shining like metallic thread (but is not brocaded, just a print effect); Sheen is throughout but more noticeable in the areas without designs and intended for  one-side display; slightly stiff quality.

It is recommended for making scarf/accessories.
