Fabric History/Pedigree: 1930s-50s silk fabric was derived from a  woman's kimono. Exceptional quality/condition for its age; this anemone flower motif is a classic but lately we rarely see this lovely Anemone flower design in kimono fabrics.

Fabric Type:   Delicate, soft, lightweight silk with purple background, very slightly translucent fabric.Motif is of anemone flowers on stems and leaves, cascading down the fabric (vertical/warp); Colors used in motifs are light pastels that have a gradation shift of colors, pink, light lavenders, light salmon color, and light lime green hues -- all in a bokashi gradation fashion; the design is on one side, slight drape.

Suitable for making scarf or accessories.

Colors: Please use our text color descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric due to differences in contrast and color on various devices.

Condition: Very Good to Excellent; there are 2 instances of tiny dye splash dots along the sides; please see the last 2 closeups; price reduced.
