Fabric History/Provenance: Pieces derived from deadstock 1980's kimono silk fabric roll; originally intended to make white ceremonial wedding kimono (shiromuku).

Fabric Description: This is medium-weight undyed silk originally for use in making a shiromuku (white wedding) kimono the color is off-white/cream color with a strong sheen wherever patterns are shown; the sheen also has an almost silver hue to it, depending on lighting; the entire fabric is filled with interwoven patterns  of nested diamond shapes, all in rows with horizontal array (Please view close-ups); significant sheen on one side; minimal drape; Excellent quality silk.
