Fabric Description:  This lightweight fabric is a traditional cotton fabric derived from a  yukata (summer cotton kimono); fabric is only slightly translucent with the background color being black/dark-chocolate (looks black in lower light) with vertical (warp)bands comprised of pinstripes that are a mix of mustard, mauve, and white colored threads, some of them skipping; The vertical (warp)lines are about 1.24 inches/31.75cm apart and the weft pinstripe are about 2 inches/ 5.08cm apart; please see close-ups; same on both sides.

Fabric Type:  Still slightly firm, the fabric softens with wash. (hand-wash separately, with lukewarm water-- see our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips).
