Fabric Description: This medium-lightweight silk, is for use in making a woman's kimono; the fabric is chirimen crepe textured; Background color is cream color but most of fabric is a Bingata-like pattern, filled with overlapping geometric shapes that resemble traditional porcelain dishes (resemble Imari porcelain ware), bowls etc., all of them are ornately decorated in floral and geometric patterns; Colors are definitely bold and darker tones, predominant colors are burgundy-red, dark reds,  dark blues, also some light and dark olive greens, other earth tones; truly distinctive;   designs are intended for one side display; slight drape.

Recommended for making scarf/accessories.
