Fabric History/Pedigree: Lightweight thin deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1990s to early 00's, originally intended for making everyday bath yukata.
- Fabric Description: Lightweight yukata white color cotton with a grayish-blue checkerboard design of 4.25 inches/10.75 cm X 5.5 inches/13.97 cm blocks; Over the blocks are large traditional Japanese dragonflies as well as Japanese writing that says, Tamanoshima; This is likely yukata fabric from Tamanoshima Arata, a Sumo wrestler who wrestled from 1998 to 2011; please view close-ups.
