Item Details and Description:

• Fabric History/Pedigree:   Lightweight thin deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1960s, originally intended for making everyday bath yukata.
  
  
• Fabric Description:  Lightweight yukata white color cotton with the navy-blue design being parallel chains comprised chains of interlocked circles in columns in parallel, alternating chains of 1.5 inches/38.1mm circles  with 5/8th(.625in)15.88mm diameters; these run lengthwise (thus vertically in our images); please view close-ups.
  
  
• Fabric Type: Still slightly firm, the fabric softens with wash. (hand-wash separately, with lukewarm water-- see our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips.
