Fabric History/Provenance: Pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Description: This is light-medium weight silk for use in making a woman's kimono; Background color is pale pastel green with motifs in dark to lighter moss-greens and white; Design is mostly the pine tree needles on branches with what seems to be the design either of clouds or water(We think the latter); print designs on one side only, the fabric is smooth to the touch, slight drape.

Recommended for making scarf/accessories.
