Fabric History/Pedigree:  Deadstock silk from roll, a type of silk used for making kimono or possibly a high-end nagajuban (underkimono); hand tie-dyed shibori.

Fabric Description: Lightweight silk, background color is a pinkish-salmon tone with shibori patterns in soft whites; the entire fabric is interwoven with small-scale traditional geometric maze patterns(hard to see); designs of the white shibori areas are of stylized very large flowers, as well as ragged-edged smaller stylized flowers that average 3 inches (7.52cm) across(please view close-ups); Please note that the fabric is intentionally textured from the shibori-process, pictures show front side;
