Fabric Description: This is lightweight print silk, only slightly translucent (up against bright light); the background is dark purple, though most of the fabric is filled with designs;  Fabric is slightly textured, almost a chirimen feel but minimal relief compared to modern chirimen, Motifs on one side;  Motif throughout the fabric is of colorful decorated open fans and clusters of flowers: peonies, chrysanthemums, daffodils, iris, cherry & plum blossoms, bellflowers,  bamboo leaves, as well as clouds, pine trees(stylized), and a few flowers that we can't name for sure 😀;  All colors of the spectrum are used in the motif designs; Design is on one side; no sheen, slight drape, good for making scarf or accessories.

Colors: Please use our text color descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric due to differences in contrast and color on different devices.
