Fabric Description: This delicate 1930s-1950s silk is a lightweight, translucent kimono fabric with a background color of burgundy-red; fabric is fully interwoven with large-scale designs of decorated fans(flowers), mostly open, a few slightly closed; these interwoven background patterns have a sheen, a few instances of some thin metallic gold borders;

The foreground motif is of large-scale stylized rounded shape flowers, largest being 6 inches / 15.24 cm diameter; Motifs are on one side only; slight drape, good for making scarf or accessories.

Colors: Please use our text color descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric due to differences in contrast and color on different devices.
