Fabric History/Pedigree: 1970s kimono silk fabric pieces received from traditional Japanese kimono cleaner/reconstructor called Arai-Hari -- see an excellent explanation of traditional Arai Hari by textile expert John Marshall,by click-pushing HERE.

Fabric Type:  Lightweight silk; designs on one side only; the background is black with abstract ragged-edged shapes arrayed in layers as perhaps cloud or water-like abstract designs, as they run in streaks left to right; designs are in medium-light hue green, to include tiny pixels embedded in the black background (please see close-ups);
Distinctive and another example of creative modern kimono designers adding Western influences to their kimono designs in Japan -- seen in the 1950s-1970s in particular; no sheen.
Colors: Please consider our text descriptions to complement your sense of the fabric, as colors and contrast differ on different devices.

Condition: Excellent.
