Fabric History/Pedigree: Recycled vintage 1980s silk shibori fabric pieces from deconstructed vintage kimono.

Fabric Description: Lightweight delicate translucent silk; probably originally intended to make haori or nagajuban; This is a 1930s-1950s fabric piece with a background of dark purple color silk  All designs by shibori (tie-dyed) are white; the motif is large (10 inches/ 25.4 cm) plum blossoms in the classic style; Fabric is textured due to the shibori work; very slight sheen in areas that are not with designs.
