Fabric History/Pedigree:  Deadstock cotton from a roll, a type of cotton used for making summer kimono called yukata, for daily summer wear.

Fabric Description: Lightweight cotton,slightly translucent, originally intended to make a daily-wear kimono (yukata); This piece is a dark indigo-blue colored background with designs in white, pink, red, gray, and lavender; Motif is large and mall flowers as foreground togroups of parallel bars (evocative of water in Japanese symbolism); same on both sides (Please see close-ups).
