Item Details and Description

Fabric History/Pedigree: 1930s-50s fabric derived from a deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used).

Fabric Description:  Lightweight, slightly translucent, rusty-orange (dark peach?)  silk fabric, print on one side; Fabric is interwoven throughout with various stylized flowers in circular clusters that run in rows throughout; Motifs included:  Classic-look plum blossoms on branches with irregularly shaped fields in white and black or pink-red as background to large peonies or plums (stylized in different colors); Motif colors include: red, dark red, light to dark greens, pinks, dark tans, black, milk-white, off-white, and mustard-yellow within black waves (Please view closeups); slight drape.

Condition: Excellent for its age.
