Fabric Description: Lightweight 1960s silk is a light beige background with designs in browns and blacks; a few dark copper colors are used in accents; fabric is textured but not chirimen, rougher to the touch than similar silks of this period; The designs are classic Japanese motifs also seen in Kasuri (ikat) kinds of Japanese cotton; designs include: birds (swallows?) in flight, water flowing, a mix of geometric clusters and hashtags/plus signs of various sizes (see close-ups).

Recommended for making scarf or accessory.
