  • Fabric Description:   Lightweight silk is a 1960s tie-dyed shibori fabric piece in a medium-light brown and white; part of the fabric (left) is all shibori (dots) in soft white;  On the right side there are full interwoven designs of the classic motif of diagonal zig-zag maze-like look, with chrysanthemums and lotus flowers (classic styling); the fabric is the same look on both sides, but the top is textured due to the shibori process, and thicker (shibori part of fabric is not smooth).
