Fabric History/Pedigree:  Deadstock unsold bolt of fabric, new condition but from another era, 1980s; In original bindings and maker's label and certificate of made in Ohshima (Island), Japan; This is a fine quality liner bolt; see explanation below.

Fabric Description: 100% Japanese Ohshima fine silk in black color fabric is 15.16 inches / 38.5 cm wide, 12.36 yards / 11.3m; slight sheen, bolt is in original bindings and labels; originally intended for use in making inside liners, cuffs, and edgings for an adult kimono, sometimes also used for making men's haori coat liners.
