Item Details and Description:

  • Fabric History/Pedigree: Medium-weight deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1970s.

  • Fabric Description:  Medium-weight textured cotton similar to seersucker summer cotton originally intended for use in making yukata (summer/bath kimono); this is a machine-process mock-shibori print and is even thicker and textured like actual shibori (tie-dyed) cotton - but is not; the background is navy blue and several shades of blue and white; some dark plum color leaves; designs are traditional maple leaves and classic streams.

  • Fabric Type: Still firm, fabric softens with wash. (hand-wash separately, luke-warm water-- see our FAQ Pages for cleaning tips).

  • Colors: Please remember that the colors and contrast shown may differ on different devices. Please note our colors listed in the text here.

  • Condition:  Excellent.
