Fabric History/Pedigree: 1990s Deadstock, found in a roll.

Fabric Description: lightweight, minimally translucent summer yukata cotton fabric; patterns intended on one side, but some visible on reverse; Background is variegated, gradation changes from dark purple, and various hues of plum to purple colors; The fabric itself is the common interwoven type fabric with tiny mesh lines visible (and tangible) throughout; There are also stylized blossoms and leaves in clusters running up the side of the fabric; these flowers and leaves are in yellows, pale blues, moss green and some red; fabric only slightly stiff, softens with multiple washes (Please ask us if you need these special instructions for washing vintage Japanese kinds of cotton).
