Fabric History/Pedigree: Deadstock cotton from roll, a type of cotton used for making a summer obi for wear with yukata; hand tie-dyed shibori.
Fabric Description: Lightweight cotton is a dark blue background with white shibori designs of parallel lines (evocative of willow-tree hanging limbs) as well as fans done in hand tie-dyed (shibori); design colors are mostly white with peach-red (bright salmon) colors in the fans' designs; Please see closeups;

Please note that the fabric is still wrinkled from the shibori-process and the pinholes from the shibori are obvious throughout, so the fabric is quite thick and sponge-like; same on both sides.
