Fabric History/Pedigree: 1920s to 1947, Pre-World War II Deadstock Japanese silk; collectible, museum-quality, suitable for framing.

Fabric Description: Deadstock (new, never used but from another era) lightweight silk piece from Pre-War Japan is in original binding and label; the fabric is lightweight, high-quality old Japanese silk, probably intended for use in making a man's formal haori liner;  designs are print on one side; Background color is dark brown with many different type Noh Drama masks throughout; mask colors range from pale gray to pale and mild tans, and several different shades of dark browns, some burgundies; black also used in rendering masks;  Label reads, Special Sale: length (in pre-war measuring system),(price) 9 Yen 50 Sen (100 Sen = 1 Yen).
Recommended for collectors: suitable for framing and display, museum-quality rare piece. Sold as a single piece.
